This project is a collaboration between our church staff and several church members. We want to help our church members and friends prepare for the inevitable.

Most of us are efficient in our daily lives. We keep meticulous records in our respective businesses and professions. We are responsible and considerate of our families and friends. Yet most of us leave completely inadequate and incomplete records of our economic and personal affairs when we die.

When your estate is to be settled, there are many questions that must be answered. These forms are designed to help you record the necessary facts for your family, your attorney and your executor. Each family member should complete his or her own packet.

We recommend purchasing a loose leaf binder for this packet and copies of as many relevant documents (will, etc.) as possible. Once all the forms are complete, we suggest placing them in a safe place for later use by your family or other heirs. It would also be a good idea to give a complete set to the person who you believe will be handling your estate. This information packet is only useful if your heirs can find it.
