Fellowship Opportunities for Children
Joyful Notes Choir
From the Sunday after Labor day through the first week of May, children in grades 2 through 6 have the opportunity to participate in the Joyful Notes Choir. This choir meets each Sunday evening at 5 p.m. Children have the opportunity to learn music, to perform music designed for their age group, to learn Biblical truths, and to learn how to worship through music. They present a musical in March and sing in worship and programs throughout the year.
Other Children's Activities
Throughout the year, we have special activities, such as Easter egg hunts, swimming parties, and picnics for our children and their parents.
Fellowship Opportunities for Adults
First Fellowship
First Fellowship is held most Sunday evenings at 5 p.m. Programs vary from season to season, and may include church history, Bible studies, social issues or other life and faith enriching topics. Our pastors and other distinguished speakers lead the class.
Coffee Moms
This group, comprised of the mothers of young children, meets each Wednesday morning at 9:30 a.m. in the Franklin Avenue parlor. Programs vary from week to week, and include Bible studies, parenting issues. Some include the children, and others are for the adults only. A nursery is provided.
Presbyterian Women
Organized in April 1870, the Presbyterian Women offer the women of the church an opportunity for additional service and study. Presbyterian Women meet each month during the fall, winter, and spring in our Fellowship Hall, usually at 1:30 p.m. on the second monday of the month.
We also have a group of Presbyterian Women that meet the first Monday of each month from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in a member’s home.
Church Ladies
The Church Ladies is a group of women members who meet informally each month to enjoy friendship and moral support. This group normally meets the third Tuesday of each month for lunch at a local restaurant. Members are notified in advance of the meeting place.
Men’s Breakfast
The Men’s Breakfast is a monthly opportunity for the men of our church to talk and break bread (and pancakes) with one another. There is a short devotional led by one of our pastors.
Additional Fellowship Programs
Throughout the year, there are many opportunities for fun and fellowship, from our Annual All Church Retreat at Mo-Ranch to Ice Cream Socials to Dinners for Eight.
