Children's Church --All children are invited to attend worship in the sanctuary. After the first part of the service, adults will escort younger children to the nursery. The Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten, and First Grade age children, who wish to attend Children’s Church, will be escorted to the Chapel. Children’s Church consists of easy to learn hymns, Bible stories, and other active participation designed to make worship more accessible to young children. Following their service, children participate in a craft activity related to that Sunday’s lesson in a nearby classroom. Children's Church begins each year the Sunday after Labor day and continues through the first week of May. (children ages 4 through first grade have the opportunity to go to children’s choir after the lesson each Sunday)

Classes for Adults
FELLOWSHIP CLASS — Room K108
Teachers: Dr. Jim LeMaster; Cathy McPhee; Pat Patillo; Bob Street; Joe Sudderth
Joe Sudderth says: We are, politely speaking, mature adults. We’re using the Uniform Lesson quarterly, “The Present Word,” during the school year, and we watch videos in the summertime. Our members have a wide range of religious backgrounds, beliefs, and understandings of the Christian faith, so our discussions are pretty lively and we all seem to learn a lot from each other. We enjoy eating lunch together once a month (inviting anyone else who wishes to come along) and we like to use money from our offerings for various charitable gifts. It’s a fun and lively class, and we love to have visitors and new members.”
COVENANT — Room C201
Teacher: Dr. Richard Kannwischer
Traditional Bible study is this class’s forte, although the curriculum “The Present Word,” is utilized to give direction to the study. Adult students of the Bible of all ages are invited to this friendly and welcoming class. (A plus for those who like leadership opportunities: Dr. Kannwischer invites, on occasion, individual class members to lead the class’s study.)
SEEKERS — Room C203
Teacher: Dr. Charles Weaver
This informal class enjoys lively discussions of current events. Come, bring your cup of coffee, and let’s get to know each other! We enjoy lively discussions on current issues.
EXPLORING PROGRESSIVE CHRISTIANITY — Chapel Parlor
Facilitator: Georgia Brady
This newly forming group is merging with the EVERYDAY CHRISTIAN LIVING class to explore Progressive Christianity, a contemporary movement within the Protestant church. The award-winning DVD-based “Living the Questions” curriculum, which features 30 of today’s leading religious voices of faith, sermon and lecture clips, stories illustrating aspects of an evolving faith, and concrete spiritual practice will guide our study. The more (adults of all ages), the merrier (the spirited conversation)!
Newcomers -- This is a 6-week study for new church members to learn more about the Presbyterian denomination. This class meets twice a year.
