Presbyterian Children's Homes

Presbyterian Children’s Homes has approximately 100 children entrusted to their care in four different locations: Duncanville, Itasca, Austin, and San Antonio. Additionally, PCH Child and Family Programs in Corsicana and Houston have served over 200 children in the first six months of their existence. Two more Child and Family Programs will be starting this year in Texas cities.

The ministry of Presbyterian Children's Homes is an extension of your church’s ministry. PCH cannot continue the ministry without you. So what can you do? First and foremost, keep the children and staff of PCH in your prayers. Other ways to actively participate in the ministry are to tour one of the homes or programs, invite the choir to sing at worship, invite the children to a retreat at your church, take the youth of your church to a PCH home to spend the day with our children, volunteer at one of the homes (groups or individuals), broaden the knowledge of PCH in your church and community, coordinate a benefit at your church to support PCH, invite PCH staff to preach at worship or talk to a Sunday school class or group, dedicate a special worship service to children, collect a special offering for Presbyterian Children's Homes, or send a birthday card to one of the children living at PCH. There are many things you as an individual, a church group, or a whole congregation can do to participate in the ministry of Presbyterian Children's Homes.
