Sermon Manuscripts Our pastors invite all who are interested to read these manuscripts of sermons given from our pulpit. We hope that you will find them thought provoking as well as edifying. If you would prefer an audio recording, compact disc recordings of each week's sermon may be ordered through the Church Office office@firstpreswaco.org at a cost of $1.00 each. If you would like to send feedback on the sermons, please send them to Jimmie Johnson jjohnson@firstpreswaco.org or David Hyers dhyers@firstpreswaco.org. Though we welcome your interest in these sermon manuscripts, please keep in mind that the art of preaching is first and foremost an oral one, and that sermons are composed for the purposes of oral presentation. Furthermore, sermons are always works in progress, and that is preached from the pulpit each Sunday is not always verbatim what you will find in these written manuscripts. This disclaimer is not an attempt to discourage you from reading the sermons, but rather a reminder that the experience of reading a sermon is not quite the same as hearing a sermon.
